Yosemite National Park will offer free admission on Veterans Day.
Free admission on Wednesday, Nov. 11, is being observed by all public lands managed by the Department of the Interior and the Department of Agriculture.
The Veterans Day entrance fee waiver has bee observed at Yosemite since 2006. Fees for camping, lodging and other activities within Yosemite National Park still apply.
Editor's note: An earlier version of this story reported that free admission was only being given to members of the military and their families. Everyone is eligible for free admission on Nov. 11.
