City, county offices closed Wednesday for Veterans Day
Merced City and County offices will be closed on Wednesday to observe Veterans Day.
The county's garbage collection will continue as scheduled, but garbage service in Merced city limits will be delayed one day, according to city spokesman Mike Conway. Emergency workers will be on duty. City and county offices will reopen on Thursday.
