ATWATER -- A homeowner advocacy group and other community partners will hold a foreclosure prevention workshop today in Atwater.
The event is scheduled from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Atwater Community Center, 760 East Bellevue Road.
No Homeowner Left Behind is helping stage the event. The group consists of government and nonprofit partners looking to help homeowners prevent foreclosure. Members have been conducting the workshops throughout the San Joaquin Valley since June of 2007.
Homeowners should bring mortgage documents, tax returns, W-2 forms, pay stubs, bank statements, monthly household expenses and recent mortgage statements.
