Accolades: Elizabeth M. Aleman and Eva Irene Franklin
Mercedians Elizabeth M. Aleman and Eva Irene Franklin are among the undergraduate students at the University of California at Santa Barbara named to the Dean's Honors List for achieving excellence in their academic work during the winter quarter.
Aleman is majoring in law and society, and Franklin, Spanish and sociology.
To be included on the list, students must have attained a 3.75 grade point average on a program of 12 or more graded units in the college of letters and science.
