That's a mutt.

By the age of 3, it is estimated that 80 percent of dogs and 70 percent of cats have signs of dental disease. This includes bad breath, red, swollen or receding gums, loose teeth, bleeding from the mouth, increased drooling, and reduced activity or energy.
In fact, most owners report a significant improvement in their pet's energy level and an increased quality of life within a few weeks of having the animal's teeth professionally cleaned.

Albert Einstein popularized the concept of "thought experiments" when he developed his Special Theory of Relativity. Essentially, a thought experiment is conducted whenever you try to think through a problem or a question without testing it in the laboratory. Every time you ponder whether or not to speed through an intersection when the light turns yellow, you are engaged in a thought experiment of sorts (what are the chances I get into an accident versus making it safely?) . . . of course, the intersection becomes a laboratory if you do decide to keep driving.
If you missed last week's article (Harnessing your dog's power, Part 1) -- then you're behind the rest of the class. Fortunately, you can still read the article and get full credit. Just go to mercedsunstar.com, click on the Lifestyle button at the top-middle of the page, and select "Pets." Last week, we briefly discussed choosing a proper leash and I mentioned why harnesses were not a good choice if you want to 1) take your dog for a walk and 2) keep your shoulder in its socket.
