Database: Does the IRS owe you money?

The Internal Revenue Service said there were 151 refunds from Merced County taxpayers returned to the IRS by the Post Office as undeliverable last year. Undeliverable checks in Merced County averaged $875, up from $680 the previous year, the IRS said. The first-time homebuyer's credit and recovery rebate credit and other tax breaks probably attributed to the increase in refunds.

Taxpayers can update their mailing addresses online with the "Where's My Refund?" tool on IRS.gov. Information may also be obtained by calling (800) 829-1954.

This database includes refunds for taxpayers in Merced, Mariposa, Madera, Fresno, Tulare and Kings counties.

To see if you're owed money, use this search form to search by name or city of residence. Use the "back" button on your browser to go back to the search tool.
