POLICE CALLS

Merced police responded to 260 calls in shifts Thursday through early Friday. The following is a short list of those calls:

THURSDAY

6:49 a.m. -- Report of an auto burglary on Cowgill Avenue.

7:22 a.m. -- Report of a theft on Yosemite Avenue.

7:45 a.m. -- Report of a residential burglary on Medieval Drive.

8:14 a.m. -- Report of an auto burglary on Raquel Court.

9:32 a.m. -- Report of public intoxication on 16th Street.

10:21 a.m. -- Report of vandalism on 18th Street.

10:26 a.m. -- Report of a motor vehicle accident on Childs Avenue.

10:45 a.m. -- Report of vandalism on 18th Street.

11:09 a.m. -- Report of a theft on Loughborough Drive.

11:34 a.m. -- Report of a theft on First Street.

1:29 p.m. -- Report of a missing person on Santa Fe Avenue.

2:52 p.m. -- Report of a theft on Lehigh Drive.

3:47 p.m. -- Report of an accident on 13th and O streets.

4:31 p.m. -- Report of a theft on 16th Street.

6:24 p.m. -- Report of a vehicle accident on Main and R streets.

9:51 p.m. -- Report of a driving under the influence on Olive Avenue.

11:38 p.m. -- Report of shots fired on La Jolla and Donna drives.

FRIDAY

4:24 a.m. -- Report of an assault on 19th Street and Martin Luther King Jr. Way.
