Police calls on Tuesday, August 25, 2009

POLICE CALLS

The Merced Police responded to 265 calls from early Tuesday morning to Wednesday morning. The following is a selection of some of those calls.

TUESDAY

6:50 a.m. -- Report of an assault at 13th Street.

8:32 a.m. -- Theft reported at Grogan Street.

9:57 a.m. -- Vandalism reported at Gannet Street.

12:29 p.m. -- Shots fired reported at Yorktown Street.

12:50 p.m. -- Narcotics reported on S Street.

4:19 p.m. -- Vandalism reported on M Street.

5:46 p.m. -- Sexual offense reported at R Street and Olive Avenue.

7:34 p.m. -- Shots fired reported on 12th Street.

8:50 p.m. -- Vandalism reported at Gerard Street.

10:27 p.m. -- Public intoxication reported at S and Fourth streets. 10:44 p.m. -- Assault reported at Parsons Street.
