Police calls on Wednesday and Thursday, Sept. 30 and Oct. 1, 2009

The Merced Police Department responded to 310 calls from early Wednesday morning to Thursday morning. The following is a selection of those calls.

WEDNESDAY

6:48 a.m. -- Assault reported at 16th and R streets.

8:42 a.m. -- Residential burglary reported on Seventh Street.

9:39 a.m. -- Vehicle burglary reported on Windsong Court.

10:32 a.m. -- Residential burglary reported on R Street.

11:44 a.m. -- Assault reported on McNamara Road.

12:18 p.m. -- Assault reported on Olive Avenue.

12:57 p.m. -- Narcotics reported on 21st Street.

12:57 p.m. -- Bomb threat reported at Highway 99 and 15th Street.

2:08 p.m. -- Weapon charges reported on Childs Avenue.

2:16 p.m. -- Stolen vehicle reported on 19th Street.

3:59 p.m. -- Stolen vehicle reported on 11th Street.

3:35 p.m. -- Assault reported on M Street.

3:35 p.m. -- Assault reported on 11th Street.

4:14 p.m. -- Narcotics reported on Santa Rosa Court.

5:36 p.m. -- Auto burglary reported on Connestoga Drive.

8:45 p.m. -- Shots fired reported at 11th and U Streets.

THURSDAY

1:57 a.m. -- Shots fired reported near at Paseo Verde Drive.
