POLICE CALLS
Merced police responded to 229 calls in shifts Tuesday through early Wednesday. The following is a short list of those calls:
TUESDAY
12:28 a.m. -- Report of a vehicle accident at Yosemite Park Way and Highway 99.
WEDNESDAY
6:52 a.m. -- Report of a commercial burglary on 21st Street.
7:10 a.m. -- Report of a missing person on D Street.
8:40 a.m. -- Report of vandalism on G Street.
9:30 a.m. -- Report of an assault on Main Street.
12:28 p.m. -- Report of an assault on T Street.
4:42 p.m. -- Report of an assault on Childs Avenue.
5:15 p.m. -- Report of a vehicle accident on Yosemite Park Way.
6:43 p.m. -- Report of a vehicle accident at R Street.
7:33 p.m. -- Report of a DUI on 13th and M streets.
8:37 p.m. -- Report of vandalism on Cavalaire Court.
9:06 p.m. -- Report of vandalism on Santa Fe Avenue.
9:43 p.m. -- Report of an assault on 18th Street.
10:28 p.m. -- Report of a vehicle accident on Park Avenue.
10:34 p.m. -- Report of a stolen vehicle on Q Street.
11:19 p.m. -- Report of a residential burglary at Santa Fe Avenue.
11:36 p.m. -- Report of a residential burglary at 12th Street.
