Police calls on Tuesday and Wednesday, October 13-14, 2009

POLICE CALLS

Merced police responded to 179 calls in shifts Tuesday through early Wednesday. The following is a short list of those calls:

WEDNESDAY

12:55 a.m. -- Report of a robbery at Childs Avenue.

TUESDAY

8:41 a.m. -- Report of vandalism on 9th Street.

8:53 a.m. -- Report of weapon possession on Olive Avenue and Loughborough Drive.

10:13 a.m. -- Report of a vehicle accident at 22nd Street.

11:50 a.m. -- Report of a vehicle accident on Olive Avenue.

1:31 p.m. -- Report of an accident on 13th and Canal street.

1:59 p.m. -- Report of an assault at G Street.

3:40 p.m. -- Report of a accident at 18th and R streets.

3:56 p.m. -- Report of a stolen vehicle at 27th Street.

4:33 p.m. -- Report of residential burglary at Laurel Avenue.

5:11 p.m. -- Report of an accident on Highway 59.
