Police calls on Thursday and Friday, October 15-16, 2009

Merced police responded to 286 calls in shifts Thursday and early Friday. What follows is a partial list of those calls.

THURSDAY

8:44 a.m. -- Report of a theft on Loughborough Drive

8:49 a.m. -- Report of graffiti at Yosemite Avenue and Paulson Road

10:07 a.m. -- Report of a car burglary on 18th Street

11:56 a.m. -- Report of an assault on Highway 59

12:47 p.m. -- Report of a suicide on U Street

12:53 p.m. -- Report of a stolen car on 23rd Street

1:44 p.m. -- Report of a car burglary on San Jose Avenue

1:49 p.m. -- Report of a residential burglary on Saint Teresa Court

1:54 p.m. -- Report of an assault on Park Avenue

3:28 p.m. -- Report of graffiti on Redwing Drive

5:09 p.m. -- Report of an assault on 12th Street

5:49 p.m. -- Report of an assault on Olive Avenue

5:51 p.m. -- Report of an assault on Childs Avenue

6:50 p.m. -- Report of a burglary at a business on Main Street

8:02 p.m. -- Report of a theft on G Street

8:54 p.m. -- Report of a suicide on 18th Street

11:25 p.m. -- Report of shots fired on 15th Street

FRIDAY

4:39 a.m. -- Report of a stolen car on 19th Street
