Police calls on Tuesday, November 3, 2009

POLICE CALLS

Merced police responded to 217 calls in shifts Tuesday through early Wednesday. The following is a short list of those calls:

TUESDAY

7:18 a.m. -- Report of graffiti on Olive Avenue.

7:47 a.m. -- Report of a vehicle accident on 26th Street and Glen Avenue.

8:21 a.m. -- Report of a residential burglary on Alexander Avenue.

9:54 a.m. -- Report of a vehicle accident at Buena Vista Drive and Highway 59.

10:04 a.m. -- Report of a vehicle accident at R and 14th streets.

10:42 a.m. -- Report of an assault at Child Avenue.

12:35 p.m. -- Report of vandalism on 15th Street.

1:22 p.m. -- Report of an assault at Ninth and W streets.

1:34 p.m. -- Report of an accident at 16th Street.

2:50 p.m. -- Report of a robbery at 22nd Street.

4:28 p.m. -- Report of a vehicle accident at Park Avenue and G Street.

To report gang crimes, call the Merced Multi-Agency Gang Task Force at (209) 385-7314 or toll-free, call (866) 264-5251. Callers can always remain anonymous. For emergencies, 911.
