Merced Police Department officers responded to 172 calls in shifts Sunday and early Monday. Following is a partial listing of the reports:

7:31 a.m. -- Report of a noninjury accident on West 15th Street.

10:44 a.m. -- Report of a theft at Vernal and Columbia avenues.

10:50 a.m. -- Report of a theft on Lopes Avenue.

11:10 a.m. -- Report of a noninjury accident at G Street and Emerald Drive.

11:12 a.m. -- Report of a theft at El Portal Drive and Groveland Court.

11:19 a.m. -- Report of a residential burglary at Parsons and East Childs avenues.

11:26 a.m. -- Report of a noninjury accident at G Street and East Donna Drive.

11:53 a.m. -- Report of a theft at East 23rd and F streets.

12:58 p.m. -- Report of a strong-armed robbery at the Bear Creek bike path near M Street.

1:22 p.m. -- Report of a theft on Green Street.

2:58 p.m. -- Report of a nonaggravated assault at Kimberly Avenue and Vickie Court.

3:27 p.m. -- Report of a theft on Morse Court near Morse Lane.
