Merced police responded to 173 calls in shifts Monday through early Tuesday. The following is a short list of those calls:

MONDAY

7:18 a.m. -- Report of a commercial burglary at South N Street and Gannet Court.

8:16 a.m. -- Report of a theft at Amy Street and West Gerard Avenue.

8:29 a.m. -- Report of a noninjury accident at West 18th and R streets.

8:54 a.m. -- Report of a commercial burglary at East Childs and Parsons avenues.

9:27 a.m. -- Report of a residential burglary at East 23rd and F streets.

9:35 a.m. -- Report of an auto theft at Dinkey Creek and Sweetwater avenues.

11:15 a.m. -- Report of a theft at East 13th and D streets.

12:29 p.m. -- Report of narcotics at East Main and F streets.

1:20 p.m. -- Report of a theft at Sweet Pea Avenue and Daffodil Drive.

2:23 p.m. -- Report of a theft at West Olive and Meadows avenues.

3:30 p.m. -- Report of a noninjury accident at West 13th and M streets.

5:07 p.m. -- Report of a residential burglary at West 22nd and I streets.
