Merced police responded 183 calls in shifts Wednesday through early Thursday. The following is a short list of those calls:

8:05 a.m. -- Report of an accident injury at East Childs and Parsons avenues.

9:21 a.m. -- Report of an auto burglary at West 21st and I streets.

9:31 a.m. -- Report of a theft at Santa Rosa Court and Loughborough Drive.

10:03 a.m. -- Report of a noninjury accident at South Highway 99 and R Street.

10:12 a.m. -- Report of a residential burglary at Lopes and West avenues.

10:26 a.m. -- Report of narcotics West Main and O streets.

11:18 a.m. -- Report of an auto burglary at Shady Hollow Court and Marie Lane.

11:58 a.m. -- Report of a theft at B and East 13th streets.

12:20 p.m. -- Report of a theft at West 20th and I streets.

5:27 p.m. -- Report of narcotics at O and West 20th streets.

5:54 p.m. -- Report of narcotics at West 22nd and M streets.

7:01 p.m. -- Report of a nonaggravated assault at West 11th and N streets.

7:04 p.m. -- Report of an accident with unknown injuries at West Gerard Avenue and N Street.

7:16 p.m. -- Report of narcotics at Primrose Avenue and Green Street.

7:54 p.m. -- Report of a theft at Briggs Lane and Samuel Way.
