Police calls

Merced police responded to 185 calls in shifts Friday through early Saturday and 191 calls in shifts Saturday through early Sunday. The following is a short list of those calls:

2:06 a.m. -- Report of an accident at West 16th and I streets.

SATURDAY

2:01 a.m. -- Report of a sex offense at Tolman Way and Sibley Place.

9:38 a.m. -- Report of a residential burglary at East 23rd Street and Weston Way.

10:06 a.m. -- Report of an auto burglary at Mondo and Monte Grosso drives.

11:12 a.m. -- Report of a noninjury accident at West 11th and V streets.

12:39 p.m. -- Report of graffiti at Mercy Avenue and G Street.

1:10 p.m. -- Report of an auto burglary at East Childs Avenue and G Street.

3:12 p.m. -- Report of an auto burglary at East 13th and D streets.

5:09 p.m. -- Report of an auto burglary at G Street and Alpine Drive.

5:38 p.m. -- Report of a sexual offense at Canal Street and West 10th Street.

10:16 p.m. -- Report of a noninjury accident at Glen Avenue and Yosemite Park Way.

10:48 p.m. -- Report of an auto burglary at East 11th and G streets.

FRIDAY

8:55 a.m. -- Report of a nonaggravated assault at East 28th Street and 8th Avenue.

11:16 a.m. -- Report of a non-aggravated assault at Martin Luther King Way and West 24th Street.

11:36 a.m. -- Report of an accident at West 11th and V streets.

3:21 p.m. -- Report of narcotics possession at Conestoga Drive and Denver Avenue.
