Letter: Lucky Cardoza
Editor: Thank you for the article last week on the $1,700 won by Rep. Dennis Cardoza in a casino in Estonia.
It really perks up the morale of those taxpayers who are struggling to make ends meet in this downhill economy and who try to find enough money to pay the out of control price for gasoline to get to work, but finding that our elected members of Congress are having no problems taking their little jaunts around the world at our expense.
Those folks who elected Mr. Cardoza might want to stop by his local office and congratulate him on his winnings.
Oh, silly me. I forgot, he doesn't live here anymore.
