Playoffs schedule: Soccer, volleyball

Soccer

WHEN: Today at 3 p.m.

WHERE: Home sites.

STORYLINE: Golden Valley hosts Lodi in the second round of the Division I playoffs. Both teams needed to win on penalty kicks to squeak out of the first round.

Livingston will travel to Bret Harte and Hilmar will host Escalon in the Division V playoffs.

Mariposa, Delhi and Le Grand all begin Division VI playoffs today.

Volleyball

WHERE: Home sites

STORYLINE: The CCC sends three teams in Atwater, Golden Valley and Buhach Colony. Any of the three could make a deep run. ... Le Grand, Hilmar, Mariposa, Stone Ridge Christian and Chowchilla will also be in action.
