Martial Arts

The Annual Martial Arts Sparring Competition is set for today at Modesto Junior College's gymnasium. Registration starts at 8 a.m. and the competition begins at 9:30. Fees per competitor $35 (day of meet).

The Gridiron Greats Coaches Clinic is set for May 24 at Buhach Colony from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Merced Indoor Football is now taking registration for summer adult flag football leagues. Individuals or teams.

The City of Merced is accepting registration for its Mid-Summer Adult Softball program through May 23.

Baseball

The Buhach Colony Dugout Club will hold a chicken-rigatoni drive-thru fundraiser on Sunday.

Dinners are $10 and can be picked up from 3 to 5 p.m. at Rizzonellis (591 Bellevue Rd., Atwater).

Donations support the BC baseball team.

Sign-ups for Atwater's Junior Giants will be held today at K-Mart in Atwater from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sign-ups will also be held May 24. Birth certificates are required. For more information, call Joe at 357-0986.
