Erik Martin
Los Banos quarterback
Martin went toe-to-toe with one of the best QBs in Northern California. The junior accounted for 284 yards of total offense and five touchdowns -- four through the air and one on the ground.
Tony Ortegan
Le Grand running back
Ortegan proved he could handle the workload on Friday night, carrying the ball
23 times. He highlighted
Le Grand's ground game with 126 yards and two TDs.
Lupe Diaz
Le Grand wide receiver
Diaz turned in a Brandon Marshall-like effort. The tall, speedy wideout was quarterback Martin Alvarez's favorite target, finishing with 13 catches and 108 yards.
Stephon Mathis
Merced running back
Mathis went over the 100-yard mark again. The junior carried the rock 20 times for 147 yards and a score.
Kenny Cooper
Merced wide receiver
Cooper gave Merced fans reason to cheer late. Cooper had seven catches for 126 yards, including an 80-yard scoring grab in garbage time.
Matthew Borges
Stone Ridge quarterback
All Borges does is produce. The SRC quarterback was
12 of 19 for 156 yards and
two touchdowns. He also had 49 yards rushing.
Kyle Espinola
Chowchilla running back
Espinola had run touchdown runs of 43 and 7 yards in the fourth quarter, leading Chowchilla to a come-from-behind 46-41 victory over Modesto Christian.
