FRESNO -- Fresno State was handled by Louisiana Tech's power running game last season as Tech beat the Bulldogs 38-35.
Last week, Fresno State's defense was dominated by Nevada's option running game, which totaled 461 yards and seven rushing touchdowns. Still, Fresno State coach Pat Hill remains optimistic that the Bulldogs' run defense, ranked 109th nationally, will solidify itself before Saturday's home finale against Western Athletic Conference foe Louisiana Tech.
