Police calls on Sunday, February 8, 2009

Merced police responded to 126 calls in shifts Sunday through early Monday. The following is a short list of those calls:

SUNDAY

8:49 a.m. -- Report of graffiti at West 22nd and H streets.

9:01 a.m. -- Report of graffiti at West 26th and M streets.

9:49 a.m. -- Report of an auto theft at West Alexander Avenue and G Street.

10:08 a.m. -- Report of a theft at S and West Eighth streets.

11:16 a.m. -- Report of an auto burglary at East Olive and El Capitan avenues.

11:44 a.m. -- Report of a theft at West Main and K streets.

12:41 p.m. -- Report of a noninjury accident at R Street and West Olive Avenue.

1:45 p.m. -- Report of a noninjury accident at G Street and Hawk Drive.

1:49 p.m. -- Report of a nonaggravated assault at Heron Way and P Street.

2:19 p.m. -- Report of a noninjury accident at South Highway 99 and R Street.

3:33 p.m. -- Report of a noninjury accident at West Olive Avenue and G Street.

4:22 p.m. -- Report of an accident at East Olive Avenue and G Street.

6:11 p.m. -- Report of a noninjury accident at West 16th and U streets.

7:32 p.m. -- Report of accident at Glen Avenue and East 27th Street.

7:57 p.m. -- Report of a nonaggravated assault at North Highway 59 and Buena Vista Drive.

8:08 p.m. -- Report of a nonaggravated assault at Canal and West 10th streets.

9:40 p.m. -- Report of a prowler at Occidental Court and Campus Drive.

10:43 p.m. -- Report of an auto theft at West 13th and H streets.
