Two Amgen Tour of California cyclists are being treated at a Modesto hospital for injuries suffered in crashes during Stage 3 of the race today, tour officials said.
Omer Kem of Team Bissell apparently broke his leg when he crashed. Ian McGregor of Team Type 1 is being treated for chest injuries, which may include broken ribs or a broken collarbone, according to the tour Web site.
The tour did not identify the hospital to which they were taken.
