It's February and American Heart Month - a time to focus on the continual battle to stamp out heart disease. WomenHeart and Clos du Bois announced they will join millions of Americans nationwide in supporting women's heart disease awareness and prevention with the launch of www.ToastToWomen.com. This new Web site is part of a year-long campaign to raise $100,000 to defeat women's heart disease, the leading cause of death for American women. The National Institutes of Health says heart disease kills eight times as many women as does breast cancer.Ideally timed between Valentine's Day and Mother's Day, www.ToastToWomen.com offers visitors a simple, heartfelt way to raise funds and awareness for women's heart disease by sending a freeyes, I said free--personalized e-card to the special women in their lives. For every e-card sent from ToastToWomen.com, Clos du Bois will donate $1 to WomenHeart: the National Coalition for Women with Heart Disease, for a total donation of $100,000. If you are 21 or over you may send one of three attractively designed, personalized e-cards by visiting www.ToastToWomen.com Simply insert your birth date in the boxes on the main page and hit enter. That takes you to the second step when you simply tap Send a free e-Toast now. On page three under Let's get started are Step 1: Choose a design Step 2: personalize and Step 3: Preview and send. These simple steps guarantee that another dollar goes to research while your friend or family member gets a heart-warming message. Let's not forget that every dollar counts.
