The Central Valley Opportunity Center is offering $750 scholarships to graduating high school seniors from Madera, Merced and Stanislaus counties.
Eligible students must have a 3.0 grade point average, financial need and must be planning to pursue an upper level education in the fall of 2009.
The Central Valley Opportunity Center is a community-based corporation with a mission to provide services that improve the quality of life for farm workers and others in need.
The deadline for submitting completed application packets is March 20.
