Around Town: Easter breakfast

COULTERVILLE -- The NMCHC pancake breakfast will fall on Easter Sunday this April from 8 to 11 a.m. at Coulterville's Old Schoolhouse.

Bring the entire family enjoy breakfast, $5 for adults, $3 for children or $15 for a family of four, two adults, two children.

The Coulterville Community Club's free annual Easter Egg Hunt at the Coulterville Park at 11 a.m. A single "Golden Egg" will be hidden with a certificate inside redemmable for the giant Easter rabbit for a 20 dollar bill.

LA GRANGE

Enchilada dinner

The La Grange Rebekah Lodge No. 323 will host its enchilada dinner and raffle from 5 to 8 p.m. April 18 at the La Grange Odd Fellows Hall.

The raffle prize is a 1910-S $5 Indian Head Gold Piece. Cost of dinner is $8 for two enchiladas, beans, salad, chips and salsa, dessert and drink.

The Merced County Library with the California Center for the Book will host a poetry workshop at 6 p.m. April 17.

Dementia strategies

Caregivers will learn practical suggestions and strategies for dealing with dementia behaviors caused by a brain impairment.

The class will be from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. April 23 at New Beginnings Church, 821 W. L St. This is a free workshop for caregivers, not professionals or volunteers.

Fashion show

The Atwater Women's Club will host their fashion show at 2 p.m. April 25 at the clubhouse at Third and Grove streets.

The cost is $10 and you can reserve your own table with as many people as you want. There will be a 20/20 drawing and homemade dessers will be served.
