Around Town: Spaghetti Feed in La grange

The Spaghetti Feed Fundraisers will continue from 4:30 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the IOOF Hall on Main St.

All-you-can-eat for $8 for adults and $4 for children 5 to 10 years of age, and takeouts will be available. Proceeds will help fund a building to house and display La Grange's historic fire truck.

Community Action

The Merced County Community Action Agency will conduct four public hearings for input to the 2010-2011 Community Action Plan.

The public is welcome to help plan programs for low-income families in the county.

They will be held at 5 tonight at the Delhi State Preschool, 16249 Delhi Ave. Bldg. B; at 10:30 a.m. May 6 at Merced Cherish, 851 W. 23rd St.; at 6 p.m. May 7 at Los Banos Child Development Center, 1624 San Luis St.; and at 6 p.m. May 13 at the D Street Shelter, 317 E. 15th St.
