Tri-tip sandwiches, desserts and chili fries have been added to the food options available, in addition to the Asian cuisine, kettle corn and farm-fresh produce previously available.

Handmade jewelry and tattoos from a henna artist can also be purchased.

Kids can participate in Guitar Hero and Wii competitions.

SummerFest will take place on Main and Canal streets, and Bob Hart Square from 5 to 8 p.m. Sponsored by the city and the Downtown Improvement District, the event will run through Aug. 20, skipping July 2 (Independence Day) and July 23 (Fair Week).
