Highway 99 lanes to close temporarily in parts of Merced County

Caltrans said work on Highway 99 in the county in early November will result in some closures..

The left and right lanes on northbound 99 from the Atwater Boulevard on-ramp to the Hammatt Avenue off-ramp will alternately close, starting Sunday, Nov. 1 through Friday, Nov. 6.

The construction work will last from 8 p.m. till 5 a.m.

The left and right lanes on southbound 99 from the off-ramp to Hammatt Avenue to the on-ramp from Sultana Drive will alternately close starting Sunday, Nov. 1, through Friday, Nov. 6. Closures will be from 9 p.m. till 1 a.m.

Motorists should expect 10-minute delays. Alternate routes should be taken when possible.
