MARIPOSA -- Cody Christopher had a night to remember.

Christopher's six touchdowns lead Mariposa past Waterford

The Mariposa running back needed just 15 carries to rack up 295 yards and six touchdowns as Mariposa crushed Waterford 56-18 on Friday night.

Christopher started early when he returned the opening kickoff 85 yards for a touchdown. He added touchdown runs of 6, 10, 50, 70 and 85 yards.

Mariposa improved to 2-1 in the Southern League and 3-5 overall.

LE GRAND 49, TURLOCK CHRISTIAN 6

LE GRAND -- Abraham Yanez tossed three touchdowns as Le Grand remained unbeaten in the SL at 3-0.

Tony Ortegon added 92 yards on the ground.

Le Grand jumped out to a 21-0 lead after the first quarter with Yanez hooking up with a 15-yard touchdown pass to Raul Garcia and a 25-yard scoring strike to Alex Martinez.

DENAIR 56, DELHI 8

DELHI -- Delhi couldn't slow down Dylan Souza. The Denair running back carried the ball 11 times for 208 yards and four touchdowns.

HILMAR 49, GUSTINE 20

HILMAR -- Hilmar bounced back from last week's loss to Central Catholic. Isaac Diaz scored in just about every way possible for Hilmar (2-1 WAC, 7-1 overall).

The junior hauled in a 21-yard touchdown catch, threw a 70-yard touchdown pass to Daniel Greenleaf and ran for a 52-yard score.

PATTERSON 62, LIVINGSTON 31

PATTERSON -- Patterson's Cody Weinzheimer threw three touchdowns and ran for two other scores as Patterson cruised to a win.

Rudy Lopez three two touchdowns for Livingston (1-2 WAC, 5-3).

STONE RIDGE CHRISTIAN 20, RITE OF PASSAGE 18

Evan Doss did it all for Stone Ridge Christian, running for 241 yards and a touchdown on offense and coming away with two interceptions on defense.

Sean Harris added touchdown runs of 2 and 12 yards for SRC (1-2 HCL, 3-5 overall).

WASHINGTON UNION 45, CHOWCHILLA 26

CHOWCHILLA -- Adam McCurley picked apart the Chowchilla defense all night to keep Washington Union undefeated in the North Sequoia League at 4-0.

The Washington Union quarterback completed 20 of 34 passes for 224 yards and three touchdowns. When McCurly wasn't passing, he was busy running in three touchdowns.

Matt Ruckman led Chowchilla's offense with 132 rushing yards. Quarterback Devin Gaines threw touchdown passes to Garrett Slate, Matt Umphenour and Terrance Olivia.
