Merced County seeks to fill retirement association vacancy

The Merced County Board of Supervisors is seeking to fill a vacancy on the Merced County Employee Retirement Association's Board of Directors.

Candidates must fill out an application and questionnaire and submit to a public interview. Management of the Merced County Employees Retirement Association, established in 1950, is governed by the 10-member board.

Those interested should contact the clerk of the board at (209) 385-7366, or visit the county Web site at http://www.co.merced.ca.us/bcc/ to get the application and questionnaire. The deadline for applications Nov. 13.
