LE GRAND 66, DELHI 0

DELHI -- Tony Ortegon didn't need the ball much to make an impact on Friday night.

The Le Grand running back made the most of his five carries, racking up 183 yards and two touchdowns as Le Grand clinched at least a share of the Southern League title with an easy victory over winless Delhi.

It was a night of big plays for Le Grand (4-0 SL, 5-4 overall).

Ortegon scored on runs of 64 and 61 yards. Alex Martinez caught two balls for 105 yards, including an 86-yard touchdown reception in the first quarter.

Quarterback Abraham Yanez completed 5 of 9 passes for 153 yards and two touchdowns.

MARIPOSA 77, DENAIR 56

DENAIR -- Last week it was Cody Christopher scoring six touchdowns. This time it was Mariposa teammate Brandon Kinalele visiting the end zone five times.

Kinalele returned two kickoffs for touchdowns of 75 and 45 yards. He also scored on runs of 10, 9 and 3 yards. Christopher also scored three touchdowns for Mariposa (3-1 SL).

Denair quarterback Codee Watts finished with six touchdown passes.

HILMAR 26, ORESTIMBA 22

HILMAR -- Carlos Diaz scored on a 4-yard run and Daniel Mouro kicked a 39-yard field goal in the fourth quarter as Hilmar came from behind to edge Orestimba.

Hilmar jumped out to a 16-0 lead in the first quarter and watched Orestimba fight back and take a 22-16 lead early in the fourth quarter.

LIVINGSTON 60, GUSTINE 0

LIVINGSTON -- Seven different Livingston players scored touchdowns. Charles Brown finished with 92 rushing yards on four carries, including a 60-yard touchdown run. Brown also returned the second-half kickoff 73 yards for another score.

ELLIOT CHRISTIAN 14, STONE RIDGE CHRISTIAN 0

STOCKTON -- Evan Doss finished with 88 rushing yards, but Stone Ridge Christian couldn't push the ball across the end zone. Brandon Nordman finished with 15 tackles for SRC.

LIBERTY 22, CHOWCHILLA 7

MADERA -- Josh Garza ran for two touchdowns and Liberty stifled Chowchilla's ground attack.

Devin Gaines scored Chowchilla's lone touchdown on a 65-yard run and finished with 81 yards rushing.
