PATTERSON 26, HILMAR 6

PATTERSON -- Patterson quarterback Cody Weinzheimer hooked up with Wyatt Young for two touchdowns as Patterson knocked off Hilmar (3-2 Western Athletic Conference, 8-2 overall).

Hilmar was playing for the first time without quarterback Quinton McCown, who broke his collarbone last week against Orestimba.

Sophomore quarterback Andrew Olson scored on a 1-yard touchdown run for Hilmar's only score.

CENTRAL CATHOLIC 52, LIVINGSTON 0

MODESTO -- Central Catholic jumped out to a 45-0 lead by the half with the help of two touchdown passes from Dylan Swartz.

ORESTIMBA 19,

GUSTINE 0

GUSTINE -- Orestimba took home the wooden chief trophy with a win over its rivals.

Michael Suesue scored on runs of 5 and 8 yards for Orestimba.

LE GRAND 55, WATERFORD 12

LE GRAND -- Abraham Yanez tossed four touchdown passes as Le Grand clinched the outright Southern League title.

Tony Ortegon ran wild again for Le Grand, racking up 177 yards and three touchdowns on 12 carries.

Le Grand came away with six interceptions with Hugo Guerrero recording three picks.

MARIPOSA 73,

DELHI 0

MARIPOSA -- Mariposa made it a long night at the fairgrounds for Delhi.

Cody Christopher found the end zone early and often with touchdown runs of 21, 15, 2 and 42 for Mariposa (4-1 SL, 5-5 overall).

A.J. Hall scored on a 47-yard touchdown run and also returned an interception 27 yards for a touchdown.

Justin Kinalele hauled in a 33-yard touchdown pass from Jarrett Leonard and later added a 22-yard touchdown run.

BIG VALLEY CHR. 30,

STONE RIDGE CHR. 7

MODESTO -- Jonathan Golliher gave Big Valley the early lead with first-quarter touchdown runs of 17 and 60 yards.

Evan Doss carried the Stone Ridge Christian offense with 154 yards and a touchdown on 22 carries.

Stone Ridge finished the season with a 1-4 record in the Mountain Valley League and a 3-7 record overall.
