TURLOCK -- Atwater is headed to the playoffs after wrapping up the Central California Conference's second playoff seed with a 41-10 win over Turlock on Friday night at Joe Debely Stadium.

Atwater (4-2 CCC, 7-3 overall) jumped out to a 31-0 lead early in the third quarter. Brian Sevilla scored on runs of 6 and 46 yards.

Nathan Sanchez got the scoring started with a 49-yard touchdown pass to Andrew Morgan. Sanchez later added a 42-yard scoring run.
"It was nice to get back in the win column and get back into the playoffs for the first time in a while," said Atwater coach Bob Valladao, whose team made the playoffs for the first time since 2000. "We're looking forward to finding out who we play."
