Environmental policy expert to address UC Merced College Republicans

Environmental policy expert Christopher C. Horner will speak at UC Merced on Friday.

Horner, an attorney and senior fellow with the Competitive Enterprise Institute, will address UC Merced College Republicans at 6 p.m. Friday at Lakireddy Auditorium. A question-and-answer session will follow his speech.

Horner is the author of the books "The Politically Incorrect Guide to Global Warming and Environmentalism," and "Red Hot Lies: How Global Warming Alarmists Use Threats, Fraud and Deception to Keep You Misinformed," and he has made numerous appearances on television news programs.

Refreshments will be provided, and the event is open to the public.
