Highlands (6-5) at Le Grand (6-4): A win vaults Le Grand into a section championship game for the first time since 2004. ... Highlands edged Denair last week 24-21. ... Le Grand's offense has averaged 45 points per game during its six-game winning streak.
Mariposa (6-5) at Capital Christian (7-3): Mariposa's Cody Christopher has carried the ball 161 times for 1,468 yards and 19 touchdowns. Capital Christian will counter with quarterback James Lee, who has passed for 2,250 yards and 29 touchdowns.

Dos Palos (6-5) at Taft (8-2): Dos Palos running back Kevin Schofield (1,876 rushing yards, 17 touchdowns) is just 124 yards for the 2,000-yard mark. Taft's Cody Sherriffs also has his sights set on 2,000 yards. The running back has rushed for 1,779 yards and 19 touchdowns.
