No injuries or deaths were reported in two mobile home fires reported Saturday in Merced County.
Shortly before 12:30 p.m. firefighters from Cal Fire responded to 7243 Vine Ave. in Winton, where they found a double-wide mobile home in flames, according to Battalion Chief Jeff Isaacs.
It's unknown whether anyone lived in the home, which was destroyed.
The fire was contained in about 45 minutes. Three engines, a water tender and 15 firefighters responded to the scene.
The cause of the fire is unknown and remains under investigation, Isaacs said.
The second fire was reported at 3:10 p.m. at 1377 Westside Blvd. in the Livingston area. The fire destroyed the home and displaced a family of five people; two adults and three children, according to engineer Mario Rivera.
Investigators believe the fire may have started in the kitchen area of the mobile home, although the cause hasn't been determined.
Isaacs said the Livingston area fire was contained in about 20 minutes. The Red Cross was notified to assist the displaced family.
Two fire engines, a water tender and 13 firefighters responded to the blaze.
