Police calls on Tuesday and Wednesday, December 22-23, 2009

Merced police responded to 202 calls in shifts Tuesday through early Wednesday. The following is a short list of those calls:

WEDNESDAY

4:19 a.m. -- Report of an assault at Yosemite Avenue and M Street.

TUESDAY

6:23 a.m. -- Report of a prowler on Sunshine Court.

8:12 a.m. -- Report of a noninjury accident at 11th Street, between S and T streets.

8:37 a.m. -- Report of vandalism at Canal Street, between Joleen Court and Cartmell Drive.

9:30 a.m. -- Report of an auto burglary at Dublin Avenue, between Tipperary Avenue and Brooke Drive.

11:53 a.m. -- Report of a noninjury accident at Canal and 26th streets.

1:43 p.m. -- Report of graffiti at 23rd Street, between O and P streets.

1:45 p.m. -- Report of vandalism at 23rd Street, between K and Canal streets.

4:43 p.m. -- Report of an assault at 11th Street, between Canal and K streets.

6:23 p.m. -- Report of an assault at R Street, between 14th and 15th streets.

7:18 p.m. -- Report of graffiti at San Ramon Court and Buena Vista Drive.

9:10 p.m. -- Report of an assault at 19th Street, between H and I streets.
