Police calls on Wednesday and Thursday, January 6-7, 2010

POLICE CALLS

Merced police responded to 221 calls in shifts Wednesday through Thursday. The following is a short list of those calls:

THURSDAY

2:08 a.m. -- Report of an assault at 18th Street, between H and G streets.

5:49 a.m. -- Report of a residential burglary at Glen Avenue, between East Santa Fe Avenue and East 26th Street.

WEDNESDAY

6:42 a.m. -- Report of a commercial burglary on Riggs Avenue, between South West Avenue and Falcon Way.

7:17 a.m. -- Report of graffiti on G Street, between Craig Drive and Sandy Lane.

8:53 a.m. -- Report of graffiti on Main Street, between K Street and Martin Luther King Jr. Way.

9:18 a.m. -- Report of an assault of McKee Road and Olive Avenue.

9:39 a.m. -- Report of a sex offense on Sugarbird Court.

10:31 a.m. -- Report of a noninjury accident on Loughborough Drive between M Avenue and Santa Rosa Court.

2:05 p.m. -- Report of a noninjury accident at Merced and Almond Avenue.

3:25 p.m. -- Report of graffiti at North Bear Creek Drive between G Street and Park Place.

4:02 p.m. -- Report of an assault at G Street and Gerard Avenue.

5:46 p.m. -- Report of a residential burglary at 12th Street, between T and U streets.

6:47 p.m. -- Report of a noninjury accident at Yosemite Avenue and G Street.

8:53 p.m. -- Report of vandalism at Branco Avenue .
