The large blaze was reported around 10 p.m. in the 1000 block of Livingston-Cressey Road, and the cause remains under investigation, according to Cal Fire/Merced County Fire Department investigators.
The woman, who was around her 60s or 70s, suffered second-degree burns to her face, according to Capt. Danny Suarez. Her condition remains unknown.
Two other occupants inside the home escaped unharmed.
