Police calls on Monday and Tuesday, January 25-26, 2010

POLICE CALLS

Merced police responded to 204 calls in shifts Monday through early Tuesday. The following is a short list of those calls:

TUESDAY

12:06 a.m. -- Report of shots fired at Austin Avenue and Sacramento Drive.

MONDAY

9:07 a.m. -- Report of a noninjury accident on Parsons Avenue, between Silverado Avenue and East El Portal Drive.

10:45 a.m. -- Report of graffiti on Gerard Avenue, between La Habra Street and La Mesa Street.

10:51 a.m. -- Report of an assault on Merced Avenue, near Mansionette Drive.

1:59 p.m. -- Report of a noninjury accident at G and 19th streets.

2:34 p.m. -- Report of an assault on Wardrobe Avenue, between West and Beechcraft avenues.

3:32 p.m. -- Report of a noninjury accident at Olive Avenue and G Street.

3:36 p.m. -- Report of an assault on Meadows Avenue, between West Olive Avenue and Loughborough Drive.

5:01 p.m. -- Report of a residential burglary on Main Street between E and F streets.

5:02 p.m. -- Report of an injury accident at Main and M streets.

5:32 p.m. -- Report of a noninjury accident at Childs Avenue and R street.
