Firearms, ammo seized in search
DEL REY -- Two Del Rey brothers are in custody after Fresno County deputies seized nine firearms -- including six assault rifles -- and about 2,000 rounds of ammunition during a search of their home.
Seven of the guns seized had been reported stolen, Sheriff Margaret Mims said at a news conference Friday.
"Assault rifles are very coveted by gang members," she said. The arrested men, ages 20 and 28, are gang members.
