The Spare Room at Bellevue Bowl will be rockin' Sunday for their annual Super Bowl party. They'll be serving $1 domestic draft mugs of beer from 2 p.m. to the end of the game.
Bar snacks are available before and during the game, with chili dogs, potato salad and baked beans served at halftime.

Mark E. Thompson of Atwater found lanes No. 3 and 4 to his liking on Wednesday night in the Commercial Classic league at Bellevue, as he pounded the pocket all night long with his speed and hi-rev ball.
He started with a 279, followed that with a 278, and finished with a 269 for a super 826 set.
Thompson has two 800s to his credit, an 822 in 1994 and an 808 last year. He is carrying a 226 average this year, up from a 219 a year ago.
McHenry Bowl is hosting their annual senior Sweetheart no-tap doubles next Friday at 1 p.m. It is a man and woman 9-pin. As usual, the bowl will feature a pot-luck lunch at noon. Entry fee is $28 per team.
You talk about tough luck, how about Larry Valenti Sr. rolling in the High Rollers at Castle Lanes Friday night and leaving the dreaded 7-10 split.

Another toughie, Bob King left the sour apple, the 5-7-10 split in the Monday Night Merchants at Bellevue Bowl, which makes twice this year for King.

I guess having a baby agrees with Deanna Riley, as she stormed back in the Commercial Classic with games of 213, 234, and 205 for a great 652. Not bad for a new mommy.
Chris Paul of the New Orleans Hornets will be hosting the Chris Paul PBA celebrity invitational which features Norm Duke, Pete Weber, Jason Belmonte and Wes Malott bowling with celebrity sport stars on Sunday. The annual event raises money for the Paul charity organization, CP3. Action starts at 11 a.m. on ESPN.
The 45th annual Livermore Valley Tournament ends its run this weekend at Granada Bowl in Livermore with final team events today at 2:30 p.m. and 6 p.m.
Singles/doubles are set for Sunday, starting at 9 a.m., noon, and 3 p.m. Tournament dircetor Tom Crane said they are running a special singles/doubles squad today at 6 p.m. To reserve a spot, contact Crane at (925) 447-5600.
The monthly scratch 6-gamer is set for next Sunday at Yosemite Lanes starting at noon, check-in at 11 a.m. Entry fee is $60, with an optional high game $10, optional last-game pot $10 and brackets $5. The tourney will be rolling on the Kegel "Easy Street" 38-foot pattern, Bellevue has the same, except they run to 41 feet.
