Merced man arrested after driving van into real estate office

Burleson Brady, 40, of Merced, was jailed on suspicion of drunken driving Sunday after he allegedly crashed his car into a real estate sales office on G Street.

Brady drove his van into the Lark Realty at 2886 G Street just after 4 p.m. on Sunday, said Lt. Tom Trindad.

Police said Brady's van had left the roadway, went over the curb and hit the building. No one was hurt, Trindad said, and the property damage was minor.

Officers determined that Brady was under the influence. He booked into Merced County Jail.

Anyone with information may call officer Danny Richardson at (209) 388-7813, or the anonymous tip line at (209) 385-4725.
