Editor: Even though I am 88 years old, I still thought I had retained some of my analytical powers. The news story about the snakes, though, makes me wonder.
I read that we have a snake habitat in Merced without any snakes. Now we are going to move the habitat to Yolo County where there are no snakes. There the man said, "If we build it they will come."
But if they come, it will have to be from another habitat, which then, of course, will be without snakes. And then, my brain is getting tired.
There must be more to the story that I don't understand, especially since they are going to spend $385,000 to do it.
Can somebody clue me in?
