A Delhi teen was arrested Tuesday in connection to several instances of graffiti, a week after he was arrested for spray painting a park bench.
The 15-year-old boy was arrested again this week after similar graffiti was found on buildings around Delhi, including Delhi Travel Center, according to the Merced County Sheriff's Department. Deputy Lucas Hukill served a search and arrest warrant for the boy after the additional graffiti was spotted. While searching the boy's room, Hukill found markers, paint and practice sketches of the graffiti.
The boy admitted to being responsible for the graffiti, which could cost as much as $2,000 to clean up, the sheriff's department said. The boy was booked into Merced County Juvenile Hall without bail.
