Night Ranger to perform at Merced County Fair

Night Ranger will perform at the 2010 Merced County Fair.

The rock band, known for the 1984 song "Sister Christian," will play the fairgrounds' Outdoor Theatre on June 19 at 8:30 p.m.

The San Francisco-based band includes original members Jack Blades on bass and vocals, drummer/vocalist Kelly Keagy and guitarist Brad Gillis, along with guitarist Joel Hoekstra and keyboardist Christian Cullen. Night Ranger is also know for the songs "Don't Tell Me You Love Me," "When You Close Your Eyes" and "Sentimental Street."

Other concerts scheduled for the 2010 Merced County Fair include Sons of the San Joaquin on June 15; country artist Clay Walker on June 17, and Tower of Power on June 18.
