A groundbreaking ceremony for Yosemite Area Regional Transportation System's park-and-ride station in Mariposa is scheduled at 11:30 a.m. April 5.
The $1.2 million project, next to Rite Aid on Joe Howard Street in Mariposa, will have 84 parking spaces, including five spaces for recreational vehicles. It will also have restrooms, picnic tables and a bus stop on the street.
