Builders and contractors chapter endorses Nelson's re-election to supes

The Golden Gate chapter of the Associated Builders and Contractors endorsed Supervisor Mike Nelson in his re-election campaign to the Merced County Board of Supervisors.

"I'm proud to stand side-by-side with ABC promoting two very important values -- open competition and free enterprise. As our economy recovers, it will be in great part thanks to organi- zations like ABC," Nelson said in a news release.

Nelson has also been endorsed by the California Organization of Police and Sheriffs, Merced County Deputy Sheriffs Association, CDF Firefighters IAFF Local 2881 and the Atwater Police Officers Association.
